Add them to a holiday platter, make them as a sweet appetizer, or keep them on hand as a snack–or even breakfast as a special treat! Powerful Pecans

Not only does this dessert look and taste incredible, but it\'s also made with cleaner ingredients than other dessert options.

Pecans originate from Europe in the 16th century and translate to “wrinkle nut” due to their deep ridges. They are packed full of healthy nutrients like omega-3’s and monounsaturated fats, and contain lots of beneficial minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Pecans have been shown to aid in heart health, digestive issues, and even brain function. Not only are they healthy, but they have amazing texture and a sweet, rich flavor as well!

Crispy Granola Tart

The kids will enjoy our yummy tarts and so will you!

We went with a homemade granola tart here to boost the whole grains and add some complex flavors to this dessert. Sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, whole grain oats, and healthy cashew butter are combined for this tart’s base. It’s super easy to make, too! All you need to do is combine the ingredients and press them into your muffin tin. We suggest using a 12 cup muffin tin for the best size. Simply use a spoon to press the dough up on the sides of the cups.

How to Make this Fruity Fall Dessert

Take a big, guilt-free bite out of these delicious treats!

These fruit tarts are really very easy to make. Start by combining all of the filling ingredients in a bowl. Let them chill while you prepare your tart base. For the granola base, stir together the cashew butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add the crushed pecans, puffed rice, oat flour, and old-fashioned rolled oats and gently stir until combined. Let the mixture stand for 5 to 10 minutes so it can absorb the liquid and soften the oats. Once moist, press the dough into the muffin tins, forming a little cup by pressing into the middle and keeping it higher on the sides. Then, spoon some of the filling into each tart. Let them chill, and then gently remove the tarts from the muffin tin. Top each one with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted pecans.
